Kate TaylorFrom the "first family of folk" of our time, the lovely Kate Taylor will be bringing her saddlebags full of songs, stories and insights to the beaches of Costa Rica. Greg Brown
Greg Brown is on practically everyone's short list as an example of a contemporary folk artist, embodying the genre as much for our generation as did legendary voices from previous generations, like Woody Guthrie. Greg's songwriting has earned him the ultimate compliment of being covered by such songwriters as Willie Nelson, Carlos Santana, Shawn Colvin and Mary Chapin Carpenter. Greg's easy stage presence is like that of a sage sitting by the general store's potbellied stove telling stories, and has earned him the status as practically "always welcome to the table" at Prairie Home Companion, folk festivals across the country and other diverse circuits around the world. He seems just as comfortable showing up to a gig with a smart scarf & cocked cap as he does with whatever he happened to be wearing earlier that afternoon while fishing in the local trout stream (***We can guess what he'll be doing when he's not with our guests!).
